Oil and LPG customers may be eligible for a £9,000 grant towards their heat pump installation through the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS). Other fossil fuel heating systems qualify for a £7,500 grant.

Eligibility

The property must have a current fossil fuel heating system such as;

Gas, Oil, LPG, Coal, Direct Electric eg. storage heaters, electric heaters, electric boiler.
Properties that have a heat pump or bio-mass are not eligible.

The property must have its own electric supply, postal address. Some properties without these can be presented to Ofgem on a case-by-case basis.
